2007 Crawfish BoilThe 2007 LSU Alumni Crawfish Boil was bigger and better than ever. This year we hosted the crawfish boil at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, on June 2nd. Because our chapter is growing, we simply had to hire a caterer to accommodate. Catering Cajun, based out of Atlanta, really did a good job. They pulled into the parking lot, set up what they needed, and boiled away. As tiger fans waited anxiously for the first batch to come out, we munched on well seasoned chicken and sausage jambalaya, and washed it down with a cold beer. With some donations from our friends at Anheuser Busch, and beer specials from Dilworth, everyone seemed to be having a good time. Even the kids enjoyed holding the live crawfish, well, until they were dumped into the large pot of boiling water!
As soon as the crawfish, corn, and potatoes were dumped on the table, we were ready to go. Pull, suck, peel, pinch, repeat! Cajun music in the background, tiger fans all around, it was a great day in Charlotte, NC. We hope to see you again next year!
